Accordionist
Peter Stan is an accomplished professional accordionist, based in Ridgewood, New York who both performs and
teaches.
Peter does a wide variety of performing as a soloist, with small
groups, and with bands. He plays a broad range of musical styles
including Balkan, classical, French favorites, Klezmer, popular, and
contemporary. He has also performed in movies, has done numerous studio soundtrack
recordings, and has appeared on radio, cable television,
and off-Broadway. When his
schedule permits, Peter entertains (alone or with a group) at
celebratory functions such as weddings, Bar Mitzvah’s, birthdays, and
anniversaries.
Peter Stan’s music studio is located in the Ridgewood section of
Queens, New York. He teaches private students of all ages, with skills
ranging from beginner to advanced professional. He is regularly engaged
as a music therapist.
